A 120-acre private lake in Cleveland, Lake Laceola is a secluded lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains, only 80 miles from Atlanta. This lake is a part of a community that cares and is dedicated to protecting the nearby wooded regions.

Lake Amenities

Members of the Lake Laceola community can enjoy private fishing. Rainbow trout, hybrid bass, walleye, bluegill, and largemouth bass are among the fish planted in the lake. Eight solar-powered fish feeders are present in this lake to maintain a healthy fish population. Anglers are allowed to use artificial or live bait.

On Lake Laceola, boating is permitted and popular. In addition to a public dock and boat ramp, several residences have private docks. Sailors can enjoy a peaceful boating experience with boats 22 feet and under allowed and a maximum speed of five miles per hour in this no-wake lake.

This neighborhood is pleased to display the label of a "green" neighborhood. There are numerous trails for biking and hiking in protected areas. Additionally, there are lovely mountain vistas to enjoy. There is also a lakefront clubhouse with a pool that is fully furnished.

A Lake Surrounded By History

A replica of an Alpine town, Helen has cobblestone streets and historic towers. Lake Laceola is close to shopping, camping and cabin rentals, dining, theater, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, and golf.

Annual hot air balloon races, Wine Fest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest, Fourth of July fireworks, Bavarian Nights of Summer, and Christmas, are among the local celebrations.

You can experience a unique blend of southern and European cuisine in Helen at places like Bodensee Restaurant, Chattahoochee Dog Haus, and Mully’s Nacoochee Grill.

Atlanta is a short drive away, so you can also spend time in the city. Famous attractions include the Georgia Aquarium, Fox Theatre, and Piedmont Park. Popular food destinations include Poor Calvin’s, Krave, and Mary Mac’s Tea room.
